Rue is a female twentysomething moving between New York City (Manhattan) and the Capital District (Troy) on a regular basis. She loves taking pictures, dogs, pretty things and vintage things and creative things of all kinds, birds, traveling with or without purpose, Sprite, trees, thrift stores and a lot of other things. Currently she lives with a long-term boyfriend and the empty space where her next dog should be.
Wanderlust & Whimsy is a blog created to focus on all of those things mentioned under what its owner likes (except perhaps the Sprite) and basically anything else that can be considered a good thing. The name basically describes its content; it will probably be related to one or the other.
What you won’t find here: Anything really all that serious. I have a place for the serious, and this isn’t it; this is a blog for the whimsical and the shallow. For the occasionally materialistic. For the moments.
